Tri-pod

This piece is a continuation of my long-held fascination with the forms of fruit and seed, and my exploration of depicting these forms with different materials and at various scales.

The material is andesite, a hard volcanic stone from Taranaki, New Zealand. This stone is harder than the sedimentary Oamaru stone and requires power tools to work it.
